I think I need help opening the firewall on the UDR7 router. The router uses UniFi network application 9.5.21 and the OS is UniFi OS for Dream Routers 4.3.9. The network application uses zone based firewall system. The BayWeb device requires HTTP/TLS on port 443 for a full functionality. I’ve gotten the Bayweb thermostat devices to work when I switch out the UDR7 router with a very simple GL.inet travel router. The bay web devices have worked for years on the wired network in my house, which is cat5 . The bayerb device he uses a quirky thing called plug-in play RJ45 connection and is limited to 10 Mb per second, but the UDR is backward compatible. I don’t have content filtering except for adblock (no cybersecure installed or purchased). I haven’t had any luck creating firewall policies with the policy maker and the new zonebased system. any help/solutions or guidance appreciated.
Does it get an IP address? Have you checked the insights tab to see if anything is showing blocked? Have you tried turning off the adblocking?
