Zfs_resilver_delay - Permission denied (parameter doesn't exist?)

It would appear that this ZFS module parameter doesn’t exist in TrueNAS Scale 24.10?

I tried looking for it in /sys/module/zfs/parameter and it doesn’t seem to exist.

Isn’t it supposed to per the OpenZFS documentation?

Never had a reason to use that, if no one else here has any suggestions try posting in the TrueNAS forums.

My foggy brain says that I might have used that back in Freenas 9 once, and I thought it was a check box back then.

It’s used to tune (read: potentially accelerate) the resilvering performance.

It looks like, from the OpenZFS documentation, that ZFS module parameter accepts data type integer as the input.

I remember reading the options the first time I had to resilver an array, it was basically to determine if Freenas could thrown all resources at the resilver, or if you needed to hold the majority back to accommodate workload. And I’m certain there were checkboxes. That said, I don’t remember seeing anything like this in Truenas 13 or 12, and I had to resilver an array after a drive failed just a couple weeks ago (can’t remember if I was running 12 or 13 when I did this).

But again, that was way back in Freenas 9 or maybe 10.
