Zabbix Proxy on pFSense

Is anyone currently using Zabbix Proxy on pFSense?

I’m concerned the pFSense HW will be overwhelmed by this module. Any practical experience/insight would be appreciated.

I use zabbix agent 6 in production, but I don’t see any performance issues. I have it installed on the 8200’s

Thanks for the feedback. Not so concerned about the agents. The Zabbix proxy part I think will be too heavy to run on a firewall appliance.

Yeah I would agree with you on the proxy part. I wouldn’t put that kind of workload on a firewall. That task belongs to a VM or separate hardware.
