Xen Orchestra/XCP-NG - Network Speed Limitation

Hello all,

Is there a way to limit the VM network speeds? I know “Rate limit (kB/s)”, but does absolutely nothing. And yes, the guest-tools/drivers are installed. I just want to limit a few VMs on their network speed. But it looks like I’ll need to do it via the firewall and put them on their own network. Just seems a bit cumbersome as VMware allowed this.

Not sure the use case for that, but I think there is a way to do it via the built in open-vswitch. Post in the XCP-ng forums.
