I’m experiencing an issue with XO.
I can create new VMs but if I go to start it - I get an error saying no hosts available!!
No idea what has happened. Have rebooted XO VM to no avail. XOA also reports the same issue.
I haven’t tried restarting the host yet.
Any thoughts ?
You could try restarting the toolstack. Not sure if that’s an option within XOA, but restarting the host will accomplish the same thing.
Restarting the toolstack will restart all the services that are used to manage/interact with the host.
When you go to the Home -> Hosts tab are there any hosts listed?
Strangely the error seems to have fixed itself.
usually it indicates some resource is not available that you try to start on the host where it is attempted.
I got this with a GPU that did not appear properly in the drop down in XO, which I fixed by command line as desribed here:
It could have been memory or disk too, if you check logs and then click the eye, there are details.
