XCP-NG : XO-CE on a Rpi?

I tried using ChatGPT , for 2+ hours. To no avail. Does anyone have a proven, working method to get xo-ce on my spare pi just as a backup? Thanks!

XO does not work on ARM. There are some github project floating around out there, but I don’t trust them.

It used to work, but I’m told something changed and you can’t install it now. I had it working on a Pi400 a few years ago, for basic things it worked fine. Backups and stuff it would not be a great choice.

When I had this working, I think I used the ronivay script, and back then it just rolled right through the process and worked after a reboot.

Ok, got it. Thanks I will give up on the project. I will spin up a small laptop with some linux or something simple for the backup copy.

I have 2 instances of XO on two different hypervisors (or different xcp-ng pools), so if I need to take down one of the hypervisors / pools, I can use the instance on the other hypervisor / pool. I didn’t run in any problems doing it like that.

Was just looking on Google and came across this thread. I do actually have XO on ARM working again, it’s in the linked repository. This does include backups, VM management (console, stats), everything as far as I can tell.

There is a project on the xcp forums for a QT6 based client that a user is making. He said it should run on just about anything.
