Hi,
New to xcp-ng 8.2.1. I have a host with an Intel CPU. I’ve created another host with an AMD CPU. How can I make a new pool for this new host so I can manage all the VMs in XOA? I’m not sure which of the many tools I have to use, XOA, xe cli, or XO Lite, or something else. Anyone know of documentation for this type of process?
Thank you.
… I found my answer. I didn’t understand the difference between hosts and servers in XOA. I was able to add the host in the Settings → Servers menu in XOA.
Welcome to the forums! Happy you solved it.
Hi Tom, I’m learning that server=host and blog=news in the xcp-ng universe.
Are you deploying 8.2 or 8.3 in your new commercial accounts?
Thank you.

We are still using 8.2 for business accounts, but for ourselves we have some 8.3 that runs some NUCs that we deploy to clients.
Thanks for answering, I also want to ask it.

To create a new pool in XCP-ng with Intel and AMD hosts, use Xen Orchestra (XOA) or XCP-ng Center. Add your Intel host to the new pool, then include the AMD host. Check XCP-ng documentation for detailed steps. I needed help with a law essay, so I decided to use Law Essay Help. #1 UK Essay Service. Reputable & Trusted! The service was excellent!
