Not sure if this is video worthy or not, but I’m curious about how to restore pool metadata if all (one) hosts are dead and the XO VM isn’t running. I’d imagine using xcp-ng center or command line to attach the SR and fire up the XO VM, then performing the restore, but the documentation says to only run a restore on a pool (host) with nothing running on it.
Is this a chicken & egg thing, or am I overthinking it?
