Windows Configuration Designer

I recently got hired on to work doing PC setups at a MSP to prepare them for mass deployment. I would like to use this tool over doing something like a Sysprep image deployment because we are getting a number of different machines for a number of different customers. This allows you to skip OOBE, shut off Cortana, and install programs (chrome, adobe reader, etc.) All in one pass.

Microsoft documentation on this tool is very technical and not very user friendly for someone with no experience with it. Does anyone have a good (recent) tutorial they know of? All of the ones I have found seem to be more for deploying images which I feel is going to be slower than this type of setup tool. Or they’re from 4+ years ago.

Again, I’m fairly new to this, just trying to speed up/optimize my workflow.
