WAN Disconnect Issue

I have been having this issue lately where my WAN connection keeps freezing, and outright disconnecting where I have to reset it via FIOS mobile app. I am a newbie to Pfsense and would like to know if there is a way I can monitor this issue, or if there are any logs that will tell me what is happening.

I must pinpoint whether this is my hardware or ISP (FIOS) issue.

I have a physical PfSense appliance that is fed the WAN connection from a FIOS ONT. From there onwards I distribute various VLANS over MOCA to different parts of my house.

I would check the System Logs and look for error message and you can follow this guide for monitoring the WAN
