Hi All, first time post. I have been using pfsense for years. I have had the firewall on COX and Xfinity cable modems with no problems on factory defaults. I’m moving up to 10Gbe on Wire3 in Florida. You get a fiber modem and a WiFi bridge. From the bridge how do you get or make the V6 DHCP address on the LAN side? I can disconnect from the bridge and connect directly to the fiber modem. I only get V4/DHCP for the WAN and the LAN. In this simple connection how do you configure pfsense for both V6/DHCP? I have watched the latest youtube videos and purchased the Intel 550 card with cat 8 cables running on HP Z200 desktop pc with pfsense 2.8.0. Did I miss a video that explains the basic config?
TIA
Dave
Welcome to forums and I don’t use IPV6 and just turn it of on pfsense as I don’t need it for anything. If no one here has any other suggestions you can try in their forums.
Thanks LTS_Tom. I connected directly to the fiber modem and it looks good.
