I am working on building out my own lab with Proxmox, EVE-NG and physical switches leveraging some of the architecture from the “VM Playground Lab” video. What I am not understanding is the use of the “Lab Default” vlan/network. Where does that come in to play?
In that video it is a subnet form my pfsense that is dedicated to things in the lab.

To access the resources in the lab, would you deploy a wireguard/tailscale client to the lab network or to one of the dedicated lab vlans?
If I am at the lab, I can get to it from my network, when I am remote from the lab I use a VPN to get to that network.
