VLAN setup for VOIP On unifi 9.1.120

Hi Everyone,

I am setting up the Unifi-SE network 9.1.120 for our new VOIP system. I have created a profile for the setup to use the second port on the VOIP phone for computers. Here is how I have it set up. See pic below

.
When I went to test it, the computer got the VoIP VLAN instead of the default VLAN. I’m not sure what I’m missing here.

You have it backwards. You set the native VLAN to what you want your primary network to be and then you tag the VLAN you want to use for your VoIP. You might have to go a step further and add a DHCP tag to tell the phone to use the VoIP VLAN tag. Otherwise your phone wont know what VLAN to use.

Thank you. I have relized this as well when trying to put a profile on the UDM-SE port it will not work. It has to be a supported voip on a layer 2 switch for the profiles to work or layer 3 switch. Hopfully this helps some else who setups a 3rd party voip phones.
