Hello, after googling and chat-gpt only giving me what it “might” be for, I chatted in with Ubiquiti and the agent wasn’t familiar with it either. This is first time with Ubiquiti equipment, ( U6-pro >G4 Instant > G5 Flex and CloudKey+
UCK-G2-SSD.) I’m trying to make sure that I’m not missing any crucial settings or features. p.s. (reset is a pinhole on bottom)
My goal is for better online security. If the G4 instant doesn’t support protected frames (wpa3), I’ll return it ( can’t get any clear info on this either) because I’m 99% sure that I’ve been getting deauth attacks on my 2.4 wifi. A group of network savvy people live next to me and I sure that’s why my internet usage skyrocketed. Since turning off 2.4 and removing ring cameras and other devices that don’t support PMF(protected frames) I haven’t seen my internet disconnecting and my usage is where it used to be.
