What are the chances of smooth and painless upgrade from TrueNAS CORE 12.08-U8.1 to 13.3, any suggestions?
I’m currently running the following Plugins, Plex Server, radarr, sonarr, Sabnzbd.
You could try and do the latest. Just make sure not to upgrade the pool in case you need to roll back to the old environment.
Personally I think you should bite the bullet and migrate to SCALE. FreeBSD is pretty behind on patches when it comes to applications and IXsystems is only keeping core on life support at the moment.
My ultimate plan is to get to SCALE. I understand I should be on the latest version of CORE to make the jump.
Regardless of what works after going to CORE 13.3, maybe I should just jump to CORE… and then get everything working!
That’s the problem with plugins/jails, etc., give you headaches when you need to move around.
