UniFi WiFiMan showing Internet unavailable but it is available

Hello, just like the topic states, for some reason today when I tried to use WiFi-Man its showing my internet as unavailable but it is available and everything works fine.

Has anyone experienced this issue and have any idea on how to troubleshoot? I did the whole, restarting my udm pro and re-installing the WiFi-Man app on my phone but as expected nothing changed.

You might be blocking ping, which is how it checks for uptime. I had to add these allow rules in pfsense for the various UniFi devices to do their status checks.

Just wanted to chime in, I’m seeing the same thing on my end too. Everything is working fine network-wise, but Wi-Fi Man suddenly shows “Internet unavailable” as of today. I haven’t made any changes either. Seems like it might be an app or UniFi backend thing, especially if multiple people are seeing it at the same time. Curious to hear if allowing ICMP fixes it for you, though.

I’m not blocking ICMP so that wasn’t the issue for me.

I called support and they mentioned my UDP needed an update but the controller showed it was up to date. I had to enable debug mode and do a manual update for it to showup. I upgraded to the newest version and now wifiman still shows no internet but doesn’t recognize that I’m running udm equipment so I gave up using the app.

Maye after the next update I’ll try it again, I need a different app now to perform my surveys.

Just a follow up, I’m also noticing that my UDM Pro doesn’t see my ISP, for instance. It used to say comcast internet. Now it has a dash. I bet that’s the source of the issue but I’m not sure how to troubleshoot. Ive had a support ticket in for over a week and no responses. Fingers crossed
