I am in Germany and some ISPs here use DS-Lite. Until recently, Unifi did not support DS-Lite and I had to pay extra for a IP4 address. Now that Unifi supports DS-Lite the german way, I wonder if I can or should go IPv6 only on WAN, but IPv4 on LAN side.
As a test, I set up DS-Lite on Unifi and I do have internet. But only if I set the VLANs to use IPv6 too. For simplicity I would like to keep everything IPv4 locally but how is this possible?
What about my VPN with dynamic IP?
Is switching to IPv6 okay from a security standpoint?
