When you are having issues with Unifi (personal or supporting companies), where do you find the best support? I know Unifi has their free chat support but I have not found them very helpful and they take FOREVER. Has anyone used the “Elite Service” with Unifi? Any other solutions?
A lot of people hire us to help setup their UniFI systems but I have never contacted their support. Their documentation and forums have been a great source of information. Support is a huge expense in the tech industry and when you are selling a product to the masses it is a challenge to keep the price low and provide support.
There is a Ubiquiti discord channel that is pretty helpful.
I have used the chat box in UniFi once, and that was for them to confirm a dead USG and issue an RMA for it. I get all other information from here.
