That is the proper way to respond to glitches, get it done and do not leave your users hanging. Microsoft take notice.

I saved DM under preferences, but when I reboot, like after an upgrade to 5.10.19 yesterday, it logs in as DM with the splash screen, but the dashboard is reset to blind-me mode.
