Unifi Network Controler App on Docker

Hello Tech people. I rebuilding my home server (since I had to migrate to proxmox from ESXI). Out of curiosity, I came across Ubiquiti Network (Controller) Application as a docker:

I was wondering if anyone tried it or found it any good to use or using it in a production environment (or even know about it)?? Or better to installing Ubiquiti Network Controller direct?

It’s a trust tolerance thing for me. I have played around with it in a docker container but I went down the path of the official install script from UniFi. I’m not saying that the containers are not legit, but I feel better knowing I am using that script than an external contain made by someone else.

Yea, I understand the level of trust. I would like to have or work on more software with dockers. I might do the same thing too and keep it “simple”.

I used this for unifi docker install. JimsGarage/Unifi-Controller/docker-compose.yaml at main · JamesTurland/JimsGarage · GitHub
Watch his video he shows step by step instruction

Thanks for that. Iv seen a few of his videos. Looking at the docker compose file, it looks like is pulling the images from the same source that i linked above.. Thanks for the link.
