Unifi Nas Pro Setup

I got a new Unifi Nas Pro and ran into an issue that support currently has no solution for. I figured I would ask here to see if anyone had any suggestions. I may have a poor network setup, or someone may know how to set things up better.

I have a 10G non-routed storage network. No DHCP,GW, DNS. It’s just an isolated vlan that my Synology and XCP-NG hosts connect to. Which is working fine at this point with the Synology.
My thought was that the nas-pro would having a 1G and 10G SFP connection, and I would connect the 10G to my storage network and the 1G to my local network. That way, it would connect to the cloud key, and I could manage it. However, the Nas-pro will not let me set a static address for the SFP port without a gateway or DNS. Setting one causes the Nas-Pro to favor the SFP port for all outgoing connections, ex, the controller, cloud, etc. It wouldn’t let me set up an active directory connection because it couldn’t find the server and you can’t view it in unfi.ui.com. It does allow you to connect to it locally on the local plan IP for administration, at least.
Do I have an incorrect network setup? This works fine with my Synology, which has 1G and 10G ports. Tom is always saying don’t route your storage.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Sounds like a bug to me. They need to make a way to set the primary network. Because this is a newer device I’d say they still have some things to iron out.

Response from support:
Currently, the UNAS-Pro doesn’t support dual LAN configurations , so you will need to use a single network connection for proper functionality.

Since the unit attempts to use the 10G storage LAN , which has no internet access, it prevents cloud connectivity.

To resolve this, please connect only the 1G admin network for full functionality.

So, I guess I have to wait for enough people to complain so they can do a feature update.
