Unifi Hardwire Mesh 1Ghz Internet slow why?

This is my configuration:

2nd Floor - Ubiquiti Networks US-8-60W UniFi 8-Port
2nd Floor - UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 - Connected to Unifi 8 port

2nd Floor - UniFi AP AC PRO Office - Connected to Unifi 8 port (channel1)
2nd Floor - UniFi U6LR – Connected to Unifi 8 port (channel6)

1st Floor - UniFi AP AC PRO Kitchen - Connected to Unifi 8 port (channel11)

Basement - UniFi AP AC PRO - Ethernet Cat6 cable connected Unifi 8 port and into Netgear 4 port 1G switch (channel1)

Patio - UAP-AC-M Connected to Netgear 1G switch Basement (channel11)

All running under 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz has been disabled or not been used.

Network set up as Mesh and all AP set as parents.
Somehow internet slow at times what could be causing this problem?

The end user has about 16 devices connected to it. 6 of them are Ring cameras and not sure if this is the problem since they constantly feed of wifi upload speeds but not download.

Some documentation said something about disabling Mesh all together, I am concern if I do this when you go from one location to another how easily will this cellphone hop or switch to the new located close device? Please advise, thank you.

Meshing won’t have great performance. You are relaying traffic wirelessly over how ever many hops back to the router. Wireless has enough problems on its own.

It is always best to run wireless that the AP’s have wired access back to the router and not have the AP’s talk to each other.

Interesting comment and valid as well. You are totally agreeing to disable meshing at this point.

100% disable meshing.

Mesh Connect and Mesh Parent Config have been disable for each of the 5 Access Points. I will see if things get better. Thanks.

In Unifi, “Mesh” has nothing to do with client roaming, it only refers to wireless uplinks.

Seems like meshing works best when there is a single device wired and the rest are not. In my case all my AP were wired and meshing was turned on thinking that this would leverage each device when moving around the house. Turning meshing off did help. This is what I had read and xMaximusx also help clarifying this further.
