I have a Unifi G3 Pro Camera that has been great for me for years in use outside but the mount degraded somehow and became cross threaded/jammed (it was fine when it was installed) when I last moved and had to uninstall the camera. This resulted in the mount becoming unusable. I have 2x G3 Pro cameras from the “original” release and know that they did change the mount design with how it threads to the camera body mid gen because my subsequent 3 G3 Pro cameras and 2 G5 Pro cameras all use the new mount design that seems to be a lot more reliable and stable.
I was able to find a G4 mount on eBay years ago when I first faced this problem with the one old G3 Pro but now my 2nd old G3 Pro is having the same issue. I literally had to cut the mount off with a hack saw it was so messed up in the threadings. How can I go about getting a new mount? The camera itself works 100% and having to toss a $300 camera over something this dumb seems absurd to me.
Thanks!
