I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running unifi controller 5.6.42 as I have some AP-AC 1’s that aren’t supported after that. I Have a pfsense router and have added nat rules for port 8080 and 3478. However, when I run set-inform http://(my IP):8080/inform from outside my network I dont see the the new AP show up in the controller.

Any Help would be appreciated

Can you verify that the ports are open and that you can talk to the controller from the external address that the AP is coming from?

Have you tried a traceroute from the AP to see how far traffic is getting?

Hi, Guys thanks for your suggestions. It wasn’t opening the port in Pfsense, after re creating the rule and restarting my router it is all working
