I’ve not watched this video as yet but I just wanted to add that on some Netgear switches they have a lifetime guarantee, as long as you have registered the purchase with Netgear and you have your amazon invoice, they will swap out the switch when it fails with a new one.

This obviously happened to me, I had no complaints I was without my backbone switch at home for a couple days, then a shiny new switch arrived :slight_smile:

Hardware warranty is also something to consider that often get overlooked by home users.

Yes it has a crappy GUI but I haven’t looked at it for ages :wink:
