tp-link is a Chinese company, the purpose of copying is usually to see that another company is successful in something, so why shouldn’t they be successful in the same.
But what I like about those EAP wifi AP (we have one in office) that you can configure it without omada controller, it has its own web interface.
I’m wondering if OpenWISP as a controller (?) combined with OpenWRT based Access Points could be a somewhat usable alternative to Unifi.
Unfortunately I never played with OpenWISP and by just lightly reading the docs I’m not smart enough to understand if the functionality offered by OpenWISP covers at least a minimal part of the Unifi controller features.
Does anybody know more about this?
