One my pfsense router, I have set up a computer VLAN and an IOT VLAN. I set up firewall rules that prevent the IOT VLAN from talking to the computer VLAN, but the computer VLAN can talk to the IOT VLAN.

I set up the UDP Broadcast Relay package and it works great. Does the UDP Broadcast Relay package bypass firewall rules preventing the IOT VLAN from talking to the computer VLAN?

Afaik, no. Because you still have to set firewall rules in order to allow hosts to respond to the relayed broadcast packets: Packages — UDP Broadcast Relay | pfSense Documentation
