UDM with a Firewall

Hello,

I have the following question about UDM Pro (Max).

My setup:

Internet access ↔ Firewall ↔ Switch (Core) ↔ Switch (Access, Unify) ↔ UDM Pro Max.

  • UDM WAN interface (own dedicated VLAN) → Switch
  • UDM LAN interface (our default VLAN) → Switch

1. We have disabled NAT on UDM.

2. Unfortunately, the LAN interface always uses the same VLAN as the WAN.

Any ideas? Is this okay, or is there a better solution? We do not plan to purchase additional hardware.

UDM should not route, firewalling etc. I want to add some Access Devices from Unify

What is the goal? Why have the UDM if you are not going to use NAT or routing?
