I have a UDM Pro deployed with IDS and IPS enabled, along with some firewall rules, QoS, and content filtering for a few of my VLANs. However, my memory usage stays around 75-77% even when idle. I have about 5 UniFi devices connected, and it’s set up with a dual WAN configuration. I’m attaching some screenshots for reference.
Is this level of memory usage normal, or have I possibly configured something incorrectly or too aggressively?
Looks fine to me and unless there are any issues you are having I don’t see a reason to be concerned.
At that time, the connected clients to the UDM Pro were just 10-15 devices with very low internet usage. I was planning to install UNIFI TALK on the UDM Pro alongside this, but I’m not sure if it will make it unusable or if it will be fine.
Estimated users on WiFi in future will be around 100.
UniFI has a capacity calculator to help determine what the max that system can handle is.
