Subject: TrueNAS WebDAV App – Path & Permissions Issue

Hi guys,

I really need some help here. I’ve followed Tom’s instructions from “TrueNAS Scale: A Step-by-Step Guide to Dataset, Shares, and App Permissions” and have installed the WebDAV app.

I can get it to work, but only in the /webdav/temp folder — even though I’ve directed it to a different path. No matter what I try, it won’t go to the specified location.

I’ve attached the log file for reference. My suspicion is that it’s a permissions issue, but I’ve followed the guide exactly and still get the same result.

Can you please let me know what I might be doing wrong?

still no luck, i cant get it to point to my path , got something to do with permissions forsure but i cant see were! this is container log

Can someone please direct me on how to correct path on WEBDAV please !

That documentation is spot on to setup the WebDAV container. Not sure what you missed, but you might try to go back through the documentation to see what was missed.
