@LTS_Tom I’m guessing you will be doing a video on scale now that is on GA.

I wanted to see about an update to this part as the performance was… Pretty bad to say the least.

I’ve been running it in a homelab since early alpha as an NFS datastore for xcp-ng. While it works, I’m hoping the performance has improved.

This is just one system that I have tested and therefore not enough data to confirm if there is an issue with TrueNAS Scale or some incompatibility with my hardware or some tuning option (seems a likely answer). I went from TrueNAS Core 12.U8 to TrueNAS Scale Release and the performance was very “Scaled Down” in my testing with a Windows a 10 system connected at 10GB via iSCSI. The system is a TrueNAS-MINI-3.0-X+ and I did the update install over Core which went smooth. I have since reverted back and the performance is back. I have a few other systems I will be loading it on in our lab for testing so I can gather more data and following this post here in the TrueNAS Forums.
