trying to send a copy of a datasets to another truenas for backup
all drives shows ok and scrub finished successfully
but when i create my first replication job (thanks to toms vid!), get following error..
“Replication “backup data to truenas2” failed: Passive side: cannot send ‘Main/main’: I/O error Active side: cannot receive new filesystem stream: destination multimirrors/truenas1_backups/Main/main contains partially-complete state from “zfs receive -s”..”
any ideas how to resolve, thanks
You are getting this error because your last backup job never completed. If there was an error during the transfer then you have blow away the dataset on the destination host and start over. Or if there wasn’t an error you can try to resume the transfer.
In case this ever happens again you can select this option and it will fix the problem for you in the future.
You might have to clear the resume token
it worked when i changed replication settings from ssh+netcat to ssh only
aka a lot slower, think i need to do some network switch/cable diagnosis 
ps wasted enough time in the past running complicated fixes/diagnosis when it was a dodgy cable!
