If you are running truenas core , and using just smb shares would you upgrade the system to Scale - is scale stable enough to use live at a company
Do you have a use case to switch to scale? Or are you wanting to do it just to do it?
We are not moving any existing Core clients to Scale without a reason. Just by the nature of them not trying to add new features there are less updates to Core meaning less potential issues.

The client is going cyberessentials , just waiting for the comment that Truenas is running an older version of BSD
