Hi! We are looking to upgrade an ancient analog system to something modern and are seriously considering a Synology NVR. Especially interested in the SA3400D and have spent many hours doing research on it.
But I have been warned by one vendor that they have seen problems with large security installations on Synology, saying performance and/or reliability was an issue. Was not specified how long ago, or which machine(s), or how it/they were configured.
Does anyone have experience with using a Synology NVR in larger installations, with around 100 cameras continuously recording? If so, I would love to hear your experiences. Thanks
