): Outside of running VMs or additional containers, is there any benefit to adding additional RAM to a Synology NAS?

The system will use extra memory for caching how much that helps performance is dependent on how often you need things that are in the cache.
Thanks Tom. That’s what I thought. Too bad that the dual Synology 10GbE NIC doesn’t also have the option for the dual M.2 drives as well.
