Hey everyone. Does anyone have any experience with using Synology’s Active Backup for Business, specifically with backing up Linux machines? My tasks are failing. Upon investigating, it appears it tried to take a snapshot. I am using ext4 without LVM. I am assuming Synology is attempting to take some sort of LVM snapshot? This is not documented anywhere that I can find. Synology just says that it supports Ext4 filesystem and makes no mention that LVM is required. What do you guys think? Is LVM actually required (not documented anywhere)?
