I’m looking to implement a simple backup of my vmware virtual machine which I use as my main machine.
If I copy my virtual machine off my laptop to ESXi server, I’m able to use syncthing to keep the data synchronised.
However, does the second virtual machine need a Linux equivalent of sysprep ? If so what would that be ? Or is there no problem running identical virtual machines (except IP address) on the same network.
