Static IP on Unifi Switches

Is there any benefit setting up static IP on UNIFI switches since they don’t have Web GUI? What are your thoughts ?

We create DHCP reservations so we know where they are in case there are issues. Then you will know right where to SSH into, but even when the equipment is not responding you can see the last IP address in the controller.

Agree with Tom, I used a DHCP reservation on pfSense for my switch and AP for the exact reasons he mentioned.
