Went to a customer today complaining of no internet at their second suite, same complex. Thought it was the switch, rebooted, nothing. Tested cable, not all pairs passed. Determinate both ends. Retested, same thing. Checked with my fluke. Something doesn’t seem right.
FYI, rj45 are temp. This is a gel cable for outside, in a conduit. They are usually terminated to a keystone in a gel box.
Have you tried a different device? Maybe the NIC on the device or the switch port is bad and not the cable itself.
Oh yea, a few different devices. All the same result. No connection.

Yes, both ends of the cable were tested via different devices. No connection.
Though, from our documentation, noted the distance was way off. The distance should be about 306 feet. Upon further visual inspection, cable was damaged. Possibly from a different contractor.
I need to make or buy some rj45 to clips for stuff like this, never enough time.
