I’d like something that seems really simple. I manage a medium sized collection of Windows servers. I’d like to get an email or text if one of them stops responding to pings.
I’ve been digging around and the solutions that are out there just seem heavier than what I need (examples include observium and prtg). Ideas? Solutions?
I feel like I could probably do this with a powershell script but don’t want to take the time to mess with it since I haven’t really done this before, and I have plenty to do alread. I’m happy to pay for a solution as long as it’s reasonable.
