Thanks for the encouraging post!

I definitely have bitten off much more than I can chew!

After I posted the comment about PPP, I ran across something in the documentation that PPP was only for serial connections and most cellular modems are treated like ethernet connections. So that direction was a dead end. Thanks for confirming.

I’m an expert at the console now with PuTTY. I think I’ve reset the SG at least 25 times trying to learn. I’m sure I’ll do it 25 more!

I’ll get it someday.

First thing I would do is manually set the speed and duplex on the WAN interface that was mentioned earlier. This is a common issue when connecting Service Provider equipment to your own gear. I’ve even had to create sub-interfaces on my routers before to get it to work.
