Setting up custom fan curve on Asus server

Im new to server HW (Asus RS100-E10-PI2, i3 8100) so this might be a silly question but i cannot for the life of me find how it is possible to set up custom curves. BIOS has no option for it (auto, full speed, manual with fix duty%) and ASMB9 completely lacks the fan control option under settings (despite product page claiming otherwise). Both BIOS and ASMB9 is the newest available.

Am i missing something or the mobo is incapable of this?

I wouldn’t expect this as a feature on a server motherboard since it is most likely going in a data center/closet somewhere.

You’re not missing anything — the RS100-E10-PI2 doesn’t really support custom fan curves. BIOS only allows fixed duty% or full speed, and ASMB9 doesn’t give fan curve options. If you want custom control, you’d need an external fan controller or smart PWM fans, since the board itself is limited.

Thanks for the info guys, i just cant wrap my head around why it has the “smarts” to control them automatically but lacks a simple thing like modifying the built in curve……
