HI, I am looking for overall guidance on placing my WiFi onto a separate network connection. Technically, not needed but its something I have been wanting to try. I have 4 ports on my PFsense box, but I am concerned that I will lose access to other devices on my main LAN if I do not do this the right way. Any links of information that anyone can provide would be great!
As long as DNS is set up correctly, and routing is working, everything should be OK. Printers might be the only problem because a lot of drivers are poorly written.
Do a search for rules on vlans let these guide you for the rules you need between LANs.
