Hello everyone, I’m looking to change my analog cameras with a DVR with IP cameras. Right now we are using Dahua cameras. In total we have 32 cameras and planning to upgrade them and we are expanding so we will need around 100+ cameras. I don’t need all 4K cameras I’ll be fine with most HD cameras in room and outside all cameras can be 2K.

What I am expecting from this upgrade is :

Making users with specific access of cameras.

Accessing NVR remotely or locally.

Storage to NAS rather than putting HDD’s in NVR.

I can be wrong with some expectations. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Also we are located in India. So there will be less number of available international brands.

Hi,

Dahua is totally fine. They also offer IP Cameras and work pretty well with Synology. Also, 4MPX might be enough for almost everything. Going 4K is handling a lot of traffic and needs a lot of space.
