Hi Forums people and Tom
I have a big project coming up (please don’t ask as I can’t answer)
I need a note-taking software for taking comprehensive notes and progress and timeline… and i want a graphical view that can be used for a visual presentation where if possible can zoom in on the different parts that contain text… also if links to PDF’s can be put in so if i click it open that PDF.
Obsidian comes to my mind… but i have never used that software and i read it has a steep learning curve… so… I wonder is there any other out there?
I tried searching the web, but i did only find a cloud based one…
This has to be a software that can be fully run locally without internet connection, as I will use this on an offline computer for security reasons.
I wish you all a wonderful day and take care
Edit 1.
Silent thought that hit me…
With Obsidian the graph looks like a neuron pattern in all directions and dont really evolves like a timeline with connections to the different notes etc. it links to, or back to.
and as i have zero seconds of use experience i dont know if its possible to form it like an left to right explosion so it looks as a timeline…
