What are my options for self-hosted Screenconnect ssl certs? I currently purchase ssl certs through Godaddy and have to renew them every year or so. Are there better options?
You can only purchase ssl certificate for one year now.
Not knowing screenconnect, search the web to see if you can use Lets Encrypt ssl / scripts which automatically renewed every 90 days (this is the limit placed by Lets Encrypt)
Should I use Lets Encrypt through my Untangle Firewall or through my Synology NAS?
If there is a script for Lets Encrypt it needs installing on your screensconnect server
I just don’t want to keep purchasing ssl certs
I used HAProxy in pfsense in front of my ScreenConnect and has Let’s encrypt auto renew the certs.
