This just seems logical.

I’ve used this and it worked just as expected, but I ended up just firing up a VM instead because when I used it, there was no easy way to deal with the updates unless he included a way to update in his install script in recently.
Also, if you factory reset your pfsense and start from scratch, it does NOT remove the unifi controller. That service will stay intact.

I’ve been using this on my qotom pfsense box, works flawlessly thus far.
