Hello to all. I am looking for good remote Support Software for a home lab. There is a mix of windows and Linux machines. I am looking for something that is free or something I can host from a Synology box. It needs to have a 2FA in it would be nice if have a portable version for windows. I have used Teamviewer in the past. But, not are telling everyone need to upgrade to a paid version. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope will get alot of info back from this group.

Setup OpenVPn server on the Synology. VPN and them run RDP ( only if you MUST). Otherwise look at Anydesk.

another option would be https://www.zoho.com/assist/ they have free account for personal
and commercial use which allows you access 5 systems unattended and does 2FA which can have on Google Authenticator or Authy(https://authy.com/)

I use ConnectWise as well and it works great. You can easily bump up to the paid versions if you begin to expand to more clients.
Connectwise also supports Yubikey as a 2FA and it works very well.
AnyDesk is still working great here with 2FA.
