For a long time I have had the UniFi network software running on my local PC. I did not run the software all the time but only when I was checking for updates or changing configurations.
So today I succumbed to the UniFi statement that the current software I had was going away and I needed to update to the newer server OS. So I did and my current configuration is not available in the new setup. The new server was not able to import my current configuration. It stated the import “failed”.
I do have a recent network config backup.
Short of redoing everything is there a relatively easy way to get my configuration into the new software or to rollback to the old version? One item that surprised me was the new software loaded WSL onto my Win11 machine. I have not needed that in the past.
Feel stupid for asking but I do not have an answer to my best next step.
