QNAP M408S 10gbe + 1gbe switch?

Anyone have an experience with the QNAP switches, specifically the M408S?

4x10gbe (SFP+) and 8x1gbe-T connections. Seems to have what I need in a cheap enough package to get my lab on 10gbe (optical SR sfp+ that I already own), don’t need a lot of managed features, but may prove useful in the future. I’ve never used their switches and have no real knowledge of them so any info would be very welcome.

I’m seeing these around the $180 to $190usd price range.

I’m currently running my VM/storage lab on gigabit copper with 8 ports and just about out of ports.

Pushing this back up, probably looking at the more expensive 4SFP+ shared with 4 multigig copper. Only thing I have found is that these do not work with the longer fiber optic based DAC cables, but said to work fine with copper TwinAx based DAC which would be OK for me.

Might also work for at a co-worker’s house where he may put in a Truenas Mini X+ or XL+ (will want 10gbe connection).
